Volunteer as a Minibus Driver – Help Participants Get Out and About

Use your driving skills to make a real difference! Kith & Kids needs experienced minibus drivers to help transport groups of young people with learning disabilities or autism on day trips, weekends away, and our Summer Camp.

What Volunteering Involves

As a volunteer driver, you’ll be responsible for driving 12-16 seater minibuses provided by community transport organisations. You’ll join the activities for the day, weekend, or week, giving you the chance to take part in all the fun while ensuring participants get safely to and from their activities.

Where & When:

  • Starting points: Tottenham or Seven Sisters
  • Occasional days, weekends, and weeks away

What You Need

To drive our minibuses, you must:

  • Be 25 years or older
  • Hold a full B (car) licence for at least two years OR have passed your driving test before 1st January 1997
  • Complete a short road assessment with the community transport organisation to ensure you can handle the vehicle safely

For full details on eligibility, check the Community Transport Association website.
