Community groups of all shapes and sizes play a vital role at Kith & Kids. One of our core aims is to increase social interaction and inclusion for people who are often excluded from society due to a disability. By partnering with community groups, we can raise funds and spread awareness of our work, helping even more people access the support they need.
Getting involved is easy and flexible. Your group could:
-
Join one of our existing sporting or challenge events
-
Dedicate one of your own events to Kith & Kids
-
Create a special event entirely for our charity
It’s entirely up to you — whatever fits your group’s interests and schedule.
Community Engagement Opportunities
If your group is part of a:
-
Church, mosque, synagogue, or other religious community
-
Women’s group, book club, or Rotary Club
-
Scouts, Guides, or other youth organisation
-
Sports team (football, hockey, rugby, netball, or others)
-
Choir, arts group, or any other club
…you can become a Kith & Kids Community Champion!
Our community and events fundraiser is available to support you every step of the way. She can provide ideas, fundraising packs, and any guidance your group might need to achieve your charitable goals.
Success Stories
Groups that have already partnered with us have made a huge impact. For example, in September 2010, Girl Guiding UK took part in the Adidas Women’s 5K Challenge in Hyde Park, London. Their efforts helped raise £5,000, funding our Social Development Project during the school holidays.
We look forward to welcoming your group and seeing the difference we can make together!
