Kith and Kids has an exciting new opportunity to gain a unigue insight into the running of a small and dynamic charity.
Kith and Kids is a small disability charity based in North London. Our overall aim is to empower families living with a disability to overcome social isolation and gain access to the services they need - some of which we provide ourselves. Kith and Kids runs Social Development Projects during the holiday periods that provide fun and stimulating activites for our members. We also run a busy Friendship Outing Scheme, Weekend Clubs, Self-Advocacy Evenings and a day time Employment and Life Skills Education Project.
What we are looking for
The busy projects team is looking for a dynamic and motivated person to join them in the recruitment and training of volunteers and the overall provision of exciting Social Development Projects
and activites for our disabled members.
What we can offer

- Direct experience of working with people with disabilities on our project sites based in the North London area.
- Detailed insight into how a large Social Devlopment Project is planned and coordinated.
- The chance to participate in and also facilitate training workshops.
- Detailed insight into all areas of a small charity, including the opportunity to gain experience of fundraising events and an insight into family support.
