‘My passion for drawing started when I was fourteen when I first saw Michelangelo’s studies of the Sistine Chapel.

To fulfil this strong passion I started a life drawing evening course at the ‘Accademie des Beaux Arts’ in Belgium (1992-1996).  There, I developed a strong interest for the emotions that can be expressed by the human body. I then graduated cum laude in history of art at the University La Sapiena of Rome (2002).  During my studies I could not stop my desire to produce and work with my hands, for this reason I worked for one year as a painting and sculpture restorer (Paolina chapel in Rome, Ferrabosco and Maderno).

When I moved to the UK (2003), I realized the great possibilities of doing art in the country and I also experienced a more modern and vibrant environment, which made me decide to develop my artistic career in a completely different way.
