Between 1976 and 1988 I had a series of one-man exhibitions throughout the Northeast including The Bowes Museum, Barnard Castle - Renaissance Arts Centre, Ulverston - DLI Museum and Art Centre, Durham - Washington Arts Centre - Brewery Arts Centre, Kendal- Darlington, Stockton and Hartlepool Art Centres.

Between 1989 and 2002 I was an active househusband and helped bring up seven children producing private commissions and sales from craft outlets and craft markets.

Over the years I have several major commissions including: -

• Large detail of the Bayeux Tapestry - for Flemish Tapestries of Belgium. 
• Woven cloth for the wardrobe for “The Joker” played by Jack Nicholson in the film Batman - Warner Brothers
• 'Wynyard Lion' rug - private commission.
• “Coats of Arms” woven embodied hangings of the four counties – private commission.

I also had a craft residency at the Redwell Comprehensive School, South Shields
